We are Debbie and Keith Garland and are originally from Newfoundland. In 2002 we relocated to Ontario and now live on 120 acres of beautiful treed land in a little village named Toledo which is about half way between Ottawa and Kingston.
Originally we started out in Boxers. Over the years we bred very infrequently, but managed to produce some award winning dogs. More importantly we produced some great companions who lived long, happy lives in their forever homes with wonderful people.
However, as time went on we wanted to live with slightly smaller dogs and ones that would be very competitive in obedience and conformation. After years of research, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever fit the bill.
We take breeding very seriously and carefully match potential new owners to our puppies according to life style and personality. We feel totally responsible for these precious little lives and unless we feel they are going to the best forever homes we can provide, they stay with us - sometimes forever.
